Touchdown has a large wardrobe of themed costumes, ranging from bumble bees to dragons, and snowmen to Easter bunnies; we are able to supply a costume to match pretty much any theme – perfect for injecting a real sense of fun into your event! Alternatively, we can source tailor-made, specialised costumes to represent a specific product or character.
Many of our costume performers are trained actors and dancers able to bring your costume to life, taking on all of the gestures and mannerisms of the character. We can also provide a ‘minder’ for the costume character to guide them and protect them from some of their more over enthusiastic fans!!

Working regularly with The Entertainer toy shop, Touchdown are often asked to supply energetic costume performers to take on the role of licenced characters for new store openings and special events. Our costume performers are booked for their enthusiasm and ability to bring the characters to life!
Our performers study their character’s mannerisms before the day so that they can create a truly realistic meeting with their fans! Members of the public are delighted to meet and pose for a photo with their favourite characters, often travelling miles to do so! The special character visits will increase footfall to the store, this in turn shows an increase in sales on the day.
Joe who was in the LEGO costume (Lloyd) on Saturday was absolutely fantastic. He showed a lot of enthusiasm for being inside of that costume which as we know is a hot & sweaty job! I would highly recommend Joe again for any other store openings we have in the region.
